Welcome to our brand new website for One Vintage and D&Me, the recently conjoined companies that now live together on Brompton Road. 

One Vintage is Marcelle’s haven of one-off vintage designs and is also the home of her own Mamie label of precious, handcrafted designs using vintage fabrics and details.In a world of mass produced items it creates pieces which are exclusive but not inaccessible, slowing down the process of reinvention to focus on the intrinsic beauty of the details. The vintage fabrics and accessories generally range from the 1920s to the 1970s and will have been used in one or many other contexts before, it is this link to a past history which bestows every Mamie piece with a magical allure. One opened its doors in 2005 on Notting Hill’s Ledbury road, where it gained a reputation as the place to buy unique vintage designs that no-one else has. This is why it now has a following of many celebrity clients including Thandie Newton, Jade Jagger and Claudia Schieffer, to name but a few. In april 2009 it re-located to 309 Brompton Road where it now sits in an exclusive showroom/studio above the D&Me boutique. 

 D&Me was the fruit of a vision born organically by sisters Diane Metta and Marcelle Metta-Symons. A boutique in the heart of Chelsea developed through a passion for quality product ranges. With a combined retail experience of over 25 years, they seek to link an ever growing clientele with a concise and well edited range from renowned and emerging designers. Following Marcelle’s extensive retail experience, she endeavours to provide a platform of limited quantities of ever changing designers and products to reflect the demanding needs of a discerning clientele. With the market ready to welcome this alliance of “filtering for the best” and exceptional service, D&Me is looking forward to welcoming you through its doors.
